From Hide to Hanger: Inside the Bolvane Workshop
Every Bolvane jacket takes one weeks to make, and only one ingredient makes that possible: patience.
Long before a jacket reaches your shoulders, it starts as a single hide on a cutting table, shaped by hands that have done this hundreds of times before. This is a look inside that process, from raw material to the finished piece hanging in your closet.
Leather Selection
Every Bolvane jacket begins with full-grain, waxed leather chosen for its durability and the way it ages over time, developing character rather than wearing out. Each hide is inspected by hand before it's approved for cutting, checked for consistency in grain, thickness, and finish, so only the best sections make it into a jacket.
Cutting Process
Patterns are laid out and cut with a craftsman's eye for the natural texture of the hide, making sure every panel, front, back, sleeves, and collar, is positioned to get the most consistent look and the least waste.
Stitching & Assembly
A single Bolvane jacket is built from multiple leather panels, joined with double-stitched seams for strength and reinforced stitching at pockets and stress points, the areas that see the most wear over years of use. Assembly alone takes several days per jacket, done piece by piece rather than rushed through a line.
Hardware & Detailing
Zippers, buttons, and linings are chosen to match the weight and finish of the leather, so every detail feels intentional rather than added on. Signature Bolvane touches, like the detachable hood on our bomber styles and the pocket layout on our trucker jackets, are built in at this stage.
“You can't rush leather. It tells you when it's ready.”— A Bolvane craftsman
Quality Check
Before any jacket ships, it goes through a final inspection. Seams, hardware, lining, and fit are all checked by hand. Only once a jacket passes this check does it move on to packaging and delivery.
Closing Thoughts
Three weeks, dozens of hands-on steps, and a level of care that doesn't shortcut easily, that's what goes into every Bolvane jacket. It's slower than mass production, but it's the only way we know how to make something built to last.

How to Condition Your Leather Jacket at Home
Leather stays beautiful when it is cleaned gently, conditioned regularly, and stored correctly. Follow these simple steps to keep your jacket soft, supple, and ready to wear.
1. Remove surface dust
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust and dirt. Avoid rough brushes and never scrub the leather.
2. Test your conditioner
Apply a small amount of leather conditioner to a hidden area first. Wait a few minutes and check that the color and finish look right.
3. Condition lightly
Work a small amount of conditioner into the leather with a clean cloth using gentle, circular motions. A thin, even layer is better than applying too much.
4. Let it rest
Leave the jacket in a cool, shaded place until the conditioner has absorbed. Keep it away from direct heat and sunlight while it dries.
5. Store it properly
Use a wide, sturdy hanger and give the jacket room to breathe. Avoid plastic covers, damp areas, and tight folding that can crease the leather.

Bomber vs. Trucker: Which Jacket Fits Your Style?
Bomber and trucker jackets are both timeless, but they create very different looks. Use this quick guide to choose the silhouette that fits your wardrobe.
Choose a bomber for a relaxed look
The bomber has a shorter, rounded shape with a comfortable fit. It works well with denim, sneakers, and casual everyday layers.
Choose a trucker for a sharper look
The trucker has a structured front, a defined waist, and a classic shirt-jacket shape. It pairs easily with boots, tailored trousers, and clean casual outfits.
Think about your styling preference
Choose the bomber when you want comfort and an easy streetwear feel. Choose the trucker when you want more structure and a classic, versatile jacket.

Storing Your Jacket the Right Way for Every Season
Proper storage protects leather from creases, moisture, fading, and unnecessary wear. These habits help your jacket stay in good shape through every season.
Use the right hanger
Choose a wide, sturdy hanger that supports the shoulders. Avoid thin wire hangers, which can leave sharp marks and distort the shape.
Keep it cool and dry
Store the jacket in a cool, dry place away from radiators, direct sunlight, and damp walls. Heat can dry out leather, while moisture can encourage mold.
Give it room to breathe
Leave space around the jacket so air can circulate. A breathable garment bag is better than plastic, which can trap humidity.
Prepare it for long-term storage
Clean and condition the jacket lightly before storing it for a long period. Check it occasionally and let it air out if needed.

How to Style a Leather Jacket in Every Season
A leather jacket works in every season when you adjust the layers, colors, and weight around it. Use these simple ideas to keep your look comfortable and polished.
Spring
Pair a lightweight jacket with a simple shirt, relaxed denim, and clean sneakers. Choose lighter neutrals and let the jacket be the main layer.
Summer
Choose a lighter leather style and wear it over a breathable T-shirt in the evening. Keep the rest of the outfit simple so the look stays easy.
Autumn
Layer the jacket over knitwear, flannel, or a fine sweater. Earth tones, boots, and darker denim work naturally with the season.
Winter
Use the jacket as an outer layer over warm knitwear, a hoodie, or a scarf. A structured silhouette helps keep the outfit balanced when layering.
